A background that extends beyond administrative tasks is required, along with the ability to act as a self-starter managing projects from conception to completion with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate is a team player who consistently goes above and beyond and demonstrates adaptability in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment. Candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred.
The Executive Assistant will manage complex global calendars, coordinate domestic and international travel, and prepare agendas. They will strategically prioritize and align schedules with key business objectives, anticipate executive needs, and bring in appropriate stakeholders for decision-making. This role involves owning critical deliverables and special assignments, attending meetings, communicating agendas, tracking action items, and holding stakeholders accountable. The assistant will serve as a central communications hub, manage external contacts, and assist in coordinating materials for senior management meetings and off-sites. They must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters, addressing issues by identifying problems, building consensus, and working towards resolutions. The role also includes maintaining personal accountability and encouraging the same standard among team members by setting clear expectations and monitoring progress to ensure commitments are met on time and with high quality. The Executive Assistant will act as a gateway to enhance communication and information sharing across teams.
