Requirements

Candidates should have previous experience at a high-growth, fast-paced startup providing administrative and logistical support to founders, leadership, or executives. A proactive and resourceful approach, excellent organization, time management, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Good business judgment, acute attention to detail, a people-first mentality, and the ability to anticipate needs are also required, along with experience giving and receiving constructive feedback and working independently. Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup is necessary, and the position requires working during the same business hours as the SVP of Operations (9:00a - 5:00p PT).

Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant will provide best-in-class administrative support to the SVP of Operations, helping to maintain organization and focus. Responsibilities include managing the SVP's professional calendar with clear agendas, providing administrative support for presentations and documents, and establishing a comprehensive filing system. The role involves responding to inquiries, attending meetings as a note-taker, collecting and propelling key decisions, and arranging detailed domestic and international travel plans. Additional duties include creating expense reports, planning offsites, preparing documents for signature, prioritizing conflicting requests, assisting other Executive Assistants, and responding to emails on behalf of the SVP. Periodic travel, approximately once a quarter, may be required to support executive needs and stakeholder collaboration.
