Our Event Team, a core business unit comprising over 50 event management, sales, and marketing professionals, manages more than 150 global events and conferences annually, catering to audiences ranging from 50 to 20,000 attendees. We host in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, providing crucial platforms for collaboration, learning, and networking within the open source community.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Event Planner to join our Sponsorship Deliverables team. This role is integral to ensuring our event sponsors receive exceptional, high-touch service and that all exhibit-related deliverables are executed with precision and professionalism.
As the primary point of contact for sponsors post-contract execution, you will manage the successful delivery of all sponsor assets, with a particular focus on their exhibit booth presence. The ideal candidate possesses direct experience in managing exhibit halls at B2B conferences, working with exhibit contractors, overseeing floorplans, and balancing sponsor needs with operational deadlines.
This position reports to the Director of Events, Sponsorship Deliverables. You will collaborate closely with the sponsorship sales team, event operations teams, and exhibit vendors across a portfolio of over 30 global events annually.
