Our Event Team, a core business unit, comprises over 50 professionals dedicated to managing more than 150 global events and conferences annually. These events cater to audiences ranging from 50 to 20,000 attendees and include in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. Our events serve as crucial hubs for open source developers, community leaders, and business executives to collaborate, learn, and network, driving advancements in the world's largest shared technologies.
The Linux Foundation Events team is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Event Planner to support the production of global events for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) community. This role will manage a diverse portfolio of events, from small virtual gatherings to large international tech conferences with over 12,000 attendees. Our events span North America, Europe, and Asia (India, Japan, and China) and involve intricate technical production, complex venue management, and numerous co-located events.
Reporting to an Event Manager, this position will be responsible for the end-to-end production and delivery of assigned events, as well as contributing to shared deliverables for larger-scale events.
