About the Role

The Event Marketing Manager will be instrumental in identifying, planning, and executing events to expand Canary’s brand and market presence, with a significant focus on the EMEA and APAC regions. This role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on management of events across various geographies, along with the ability to refine campaigns to effectively engage customers and prospects before, during, and after events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead event strategy development and execution for the EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Drive demand generation by creating events that generate leads and build sales pipeline.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans for events and associated workstreams.
  • Coordinate with external partners, including event managers and contractors.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
  • Support the team in achieving and exceeding program targets, including registration/attendance, engagement, customer growth, and new business pipeline.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including pre- and post-event marketing and coordination.
  • Leverage best-in-class program technology, materials, systems, marketing strategies, and event targeting to elevate each event.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event marketing, with a preference for experience driving demand through event programs at a B2B tech company.
  • Prior experience organizing events in multiple countries.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferably in marketing, communications, PR, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English; fluency in a second language is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with strong project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Excel, and related technology systems.
  • A proactive and self-starting attitude.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
