Requirements

Interpret RA and customer documentation (drawings, specifications, work orders, schematics, and others)
Perform basic mechanical assembly of components on panels and cabinets
Assemble and disassemble doors and accessories from pre-assembled cabinets
Perform basic low-voltage wiring, power wiring, and signal wiring
Select correct low-voltage wiring, power wiring, and signal wiring
Strip, crimp, and secure wire ends
Select and apply wire labeling
Select and apply component and cabinet labeling
Select correct wiring securing devices

Responsibilities

Support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions
Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions
Assist in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment
Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus
Perform electrical and mechanical assembly on RA ETO cabinet systems, transforming information from electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications into a physical product
Aid higher level Engineering Technicians in their duties as requested/assigned
Aid Associate technicians as required
