Requirements

  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license (may be required for some positions)
  • Special license such as CDL or certificate (may be required for some positions)
  • Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing and recycling techniques
  • Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training
  • Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as onsite field lead for execution of emergency response and environmental remediation projects
  • Act as main point of contact in the field on projects and report daily activities and concerns to the manager
  • Ensure project work scopes are met with adherence to health and safety standards and regulatory standards
  • Responsible for health and safety on all aspects of field projects performed by the Company and its subcontractors
  • Review field tasks and develop safety procedures associated with the scope of work and regulatory standards
  • Assess and validate all subcontractors have appropriate training and certifications
  • Ensure all customer specific health and safety procedures are followed
  • Assist the project manager in customer service-related work including scope of work development, safety requirements, waste characterization, shipping, waste profiling, and document preparation
  • Supervise field work to ensure tasks are performed safely, compliantly, and accurately with the scope of work
  • Work with intercompany purchasing agents to obtain pricing from suppliers/vendors and develop project cost budgets
  • Assist project manager in creation of purchase orders and tracking of purchase orders
  • Compile and organize job-related paperwork including health and safety meeting documentation, vendor receipts, manifests/bill of ladings, air-monitoring documentation, and field calibration logs
  • Work with subcontractors to schedule field work and obtain subcontractor job submittals including training certifications, health and safety plans, and equipment/material procurement
  • Become knowledgeable with company-owned materials and equipment
  • Perform regular maintenance on equipment to keep in good-working order
  • Develop maintenance schedule for all division-owned equipment
  • Drive company-owned vehicles including pickup truck/trailer combination and/or box truck
  • Assist in the implementation of technical systems or solutions
  • Work to improve operating capabilities of equipment through training and practice
  • Escalate individual performance feedback, positive and negative, to the direct leader in a timely manner
  • Substitute for workers during absences or to relieve bottlenecks in work congested areas
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
