Requirements

Ability to work shifts: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday 5pm-5:30am or Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday 5pm-5:30am
Provide high level of maintenance support for equipment in Mix, Fill, and Finishing complexes at Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities
High level of troubleshooting ability to repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with corporate specifications, plant SOPs, Galaxy process, and local GMP
Adherence to all plant safety rules and ability to direct others in proper application of safety practices
Ability to work independently and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality groups
Support Sr. Field Service Technicians and Lead Maintenance Technicians with scheduling and timely PM completion
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds periodically
Ability to walk and travel between Drug Delivery and Penicillin buildings in all seasons
Little supervision required to accomplish objectives
Proactive in safe work practices, leads by example, points out unsafe conditions, and supports C2S initiative
Drive innovation and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment to ensure manufacturing lines are ready during planned production time
Complete PMs on time and monitor production to spot and solve issues proactively
Provide emergency service, including overtime, weekends, and plant shutdowns
Monitor assigned manufacturing lines and communicate with manufacturing to reduce downtime
Review current PMs, verify parts in stock, and complete PMs on time
Build and rebuild machine assemblies
Communicate equipment issues and work status to supervision, manufacturing, and management per Stop and Fix guidelines
Initiate work orders using Maximo CMMS system
Perform PM work and assign work related to Galaxy process for equipment reliability and efficiency
Ensure proper and timely completion of related documentation
Note problems, breakdowns, or alarms in Maximo or downtime tracking method, initiate work orders, and complete additional documentation
Review equipment trends and support efforts to eliminate recurring problems
Share knowledge and train less experienced technicians in Galaxy process and related equipment
