Requirements

  • Capability to identify, track, and remediate data gaps, inconsistencies, and misalignments
  • Experience implementing automated data quality checks, monitoring, alerts, and exception reporting
  • Knowledge of measuring data governance effectiveness through KPIs like data quality scores, reconciliation error rates, and time-to-resolution
  • Ability to champion universal data models, consistent definitions, and integrations using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
  • Expertise in coordinating data orchestration pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise data strategy in alignment with corporate goals
  • Design and maintain comprehensive data architecture spanning ERP, HRIS, CRM, ATS, Finance, and other core business systems
  • Ensure the architecture supports scalability, performance, and resilience as the company grows
  • Lead initiatives to break down data silos and establish trusted, unified sources of truth across the organization, including building an enterprise-wide data warehouse
  • Champion a company-wide data governance framework that fosters data accountability, defining policies, ownership, stewardship, quality standards, and lifecycle management
  • Facilitate regular governance council sessions with functional leaders, data stewards, and technical specialists to review priorities, align decisions, and resolve issues
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration as the bridge between business and technology teams for data quality and consistency
  • Identify and track data gaps, inconsistencies, missing attributes, or system misalignments across source systems
  • Coordinate remediation efforts with system owners and data stewards to resolve data gaps and improve accuracy
  • Implement monitoring, alerts, automated data quality checks, and exception reporting to proactively detect and address issues
  • Maintain and update data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle management policies
  • Ensure compliance with data standards and escalate non-adherence
  • Measure data governance effectiveness by tracking KPIs such as data quality scores, reconciliation error rates, and time-to-resolution
  • Continuously improve governance processes, frameworks, and adopt new tools or methodologies
  • Champion adoption of a Universal Data Model and ensure consistent definitions across systems
  • Steer design and implementation of integrations between business systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
  • Coordinate data orchestration pipelines
