Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or related field. Degree in Public Health / MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Proven track record in Public Markets / government tenders, large multi-stakeholder public health management preferably in diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare IT
  • Experience in working with global funders (Global Fund, CHAI, FIND etc.) and healthcare institutions (WHO, UNAID etc.)
  • Knowledge of Public Health Systems
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders across MOH, Global Funders etc
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, additional regional languages (Bahasa / Malay) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and market access for Abbott Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) by managing strategic accounts in Government Sector especially working with Country Ministry of Health (MOH), engaging multi-lateral stakeholders—including funders, global healthcare agencies and NGOs and delivering public-health based value propositions
  • Develop and execute the regional Public Market strategy, manage customer relationships, and lead cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic and commercial objectives
  • Own and deliver sales targets for the assigned Public Markets in Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar (SCIMM) countries
  • Execute strategic planning considering country healthcare dynamics and aligned with long-term
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including decision makers at MOH, funders and multi-lateral bodies
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and aligning MDx solutions accordingly
  • Position Abbott’s workflow capabilities as a strategic differentiator, demonstrating how they improve operational efficiency, clinical outcomes, and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage a portfolio of Public Health opportunities across South-East Asia lead planning, relationship building, tender discussions, and long-term partnership development
  • Collaborate with Country Sales Team, marketing, medical affairs, service, and operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and ensure successful solution implementation
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence. Contribute to regional business reviews and strategic planning
  • Work closely with peers across regions and support the Enterprise Sales Manager in executing broader APAC initiatives
