About the Role

The Falcon Foundry team delivers a SaaS-based low-code application development platform for our customers. This product integrates multiple CrowdStrike security platform capabilities, enabling customers and partners to build, integrate, test, and deploy applications on our cloud. The team is responsible for numerous backend components, micro-services, APIs, and various frameworks that create an easy-to-use, extensible, and modern platform. Our goal is to provide out-of-the-box application development functionality while allowing partners and developers to seamlessly extend the platform. We are looking for a manager to lead and deliver key parts of this platform and product.

What You'll Do

• Team Growth: Attract, hire, and continuously develop a fast-growing team.
• Product Vision: Drive our product mission forward by partnering with multiple stakeholders to develop strategy, technical and product roadmaps, and plan and execute these roadmaps.
• Technical Excellence: Champion high code quality, sound architectural designs, and scalable, resilient systems.
• Leadership: Lead by example with a strong customer and product focus.

What You'll Need

• 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing multiple software products/releases, preferably in a SaaS delivery model.
• 4+ years of experience managing teams of 6+ individual contributors, delivering multiple major product milestones.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems running in public and/or private cloud environments.
• Knowledge of REST, API design patterns, and microservices.
• Experience managing full-stack development teams, including engineers working on UI development and backend services.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies and deployment models, and modern CI/CD based software delivery.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with some of the following technologies and languages: Java, Golang, No-SQL databases, Apache Kafka, caching technologies like Redis, authentication/authorization (authN/AuthZ).
