Requirements

  • Experience leading others, with a track record of mentoring, connecting with, and improving those around you
  • Strong technical proficiency as an expert in full-stack engineering, experience with cloud-based systems/services, and advocacy for TDD, CI/CD, and driving engineering practices across teams
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to come up with novel solutions and think outside the box
  • Live within commuting distance of the London office

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional engineering squads working on products for the Elite unit, creating innovative greenfield solutions for professional sports customers (e.g., Premier League, UEFA Football clubs, Premiership Rugby, NBA, NHL, NCAA)
  • Help build new features and services while ensuring products are better integrated into the Hudl ecosystem, with a priority on serving customer needs (coaches and sports scientists across levels and sports)
  • Provide feedback on system architecture and designs
  • Offer technical and personal leadership to the team, guiding them to build the best solutions and coaching them to improve as engineers
