Requirements

Candidates should possess 2+ years of proven people management experience leading engineering teams, overseeing a team of 5 engineers while staying close to technical problems, and experience managing teams focused on Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform engineering. Demonstrated experience implementing and fostering agile practices within engineering teams to achieve high velocity and effective delivery is also required, along with proven ability to plan and implement CI/CD strategies with a focus on developer experience while maintaining cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will own and drive our systems related to Security and Cloud Infrastructure, create and execute on a compelling vision to build world-class systems, lead, mentor, and grow a team of Cloud Infrastructure and Security engineers, strategically hiring and evolving the team to support ambitious scaling plans, and champion organizational growth by implementing scalable, reliable, and secure engineering best practices that accelerate all engineering teams. They will also elevate the principles of engineering and management across Lumos.
