Responsibilities
- Lead a group of engineering managers and their squads to deliver high-quality software products.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering teams, ensuring alignment with the company's technical vision and strategy.
- Define and drive the technical direction, architecture, and roadmap of our products.
- Collaborate with product management to ensure products meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Work closely with quality assurance to ensure products meet high standards of quality and reliability.
- Ensure the engineering team utilizes best practices in software development (agile, CI/CD, automated testing).
- Hire and develop top engineering talent and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Help to grow individual engineering managers to lead their teams.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and address critical system issues.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in leading software development teams.
- Strong technical background in software development (Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages – specific languages not listed).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers.
