Engineer II, Manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific

A Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required, along with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

This is an on-site role involving work in office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments with exposure to loud noises, PPE requirements, various weather conditions, and hazardous materials.

The role requires thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with close collaboration across equipment engineering, safety, quality, operational units, maintenance, operations, and process engineering teams.

Strong candidates demonstrate the ability to encourage and inspire change, promote positive relationships, and apply data-driven solutions with Lean and Six Sigma expertise in a regulated manufacturing setting.
