Requirements

Candidates must have experience managing employee relations and HR operations for a global company, specifically within the UK, Ireland, and UAE. A strong understanding of UK, Ireland, and UAE employment law is essential, along with experience in managing complex ER casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability assessments. Experience in overseeing HR processes such as payroll, contracts, benefits, and systems is required, as is the ability to lead and develop a team. Enthusiasm for working on a global team and a proactive, results-driven approach are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Employee Relations & HR Operations Manager will execute the Global ER & Ops Strategy, support regional talent management, and provide leadership and development to a team of three. This role involves acting as a subject matter expert, offering senior-level guidance on ER best practices and conflict resolution, and managing higher-level ER cases. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for complex ER cases, ensuring legal compliance with local employment law and ACAS guidelines, and monitoring ER case trends to inform policy updates and training needs. The manager will also provide risk management advice to the business and partner with HR Shared Services on escalations.
