Requirements

  • Expertise in providing comprehensive advice across HR functions, including performance management, workplace investigations, pay concerns, work environment concerns, employee policy and program questions, separation of employment reviews, and high-risk employee relations cases
  • Ability to handle highly complex and confidential HR, Human Rights, Compliance, Ethics, and Legal investigations across all company business lines
  • Experience engaging in Works Council and union negotiations, contract management, and managing collective bargaining agreement requirements (based on country and legal entity requirements)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, company policies, and union contracts to ensure uniform and equitable employee treatment
  • Ability to consult with Legal, Compliance, Human Rights, and other departments as necessary
  • Skills in providing guidance on performance management plans, progressive discipline, and documentation
  • Capability to identify root cause issues in employee engagement and provide conflict resolution to employees and managers
  • Adherence to service level agreements, timely responses, case management system use, thorough documentation, reporting, and escalation of sensitive issues
  • Experience providing education, training, and coaching to managers on conflict management, crucial conversations, performance management, harassment, and other HR topics
  • Ability to provide emergency response and crisis management support to employees
  • Facilitation of exit interviews with voluntarily terminating employees when requested

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert, trusted, and comprehensive advice on employee relations matters including performance management, workplace investigations, pay concerns, work environment concerns, employee policy questions, separation reviews, and high-risk cases
  • Handle highly complex and confidential investigations in HR, Human Rights, Compliance, Ethics, and Legal areas for all business lines
  • Engage in Works Council and union negotiations, manage contracts, and fulfill collective bargaining agreement requirements as needed
  • Provide counsel, advice, and recommendations in compliance with regulations, policies, and union contracts for equitable employee treatment
  • Consult with Legal, Compliance, Human Rights, and other departments as necessary
  • Guide performance management plans, progressive discipline, and documentation
  • Identify root causes in employee engagement issues and deliver conflict resolution to employees and managers
  • Follow service level agreements with timely responses, case management, documentation, reporting, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Provide education, training, and coaching to managers on HR topics like conflict management, crucial conversations, performance management, and harassment
  • Offer emergency response and crisis management support to employees
