Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in social work, social services, or case management field
  • Access to a private, confidential workspace free from distractions, and ability to maintain a professional, camera-ready work environment available at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism
  • Possesses a wired internet connection (minimum 400 Mbps download, 10-20 Mbps upload); no DSL or cellular internet; higher speed may be needed based on household usage; must be hard wired into internet modem and not on Wi-Fi
  • Must be comfortable conducting video chats, virtual calls, and using digital communication tools
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 11:45am-8:15pm Eastern Standard Time

Responsibilities

  • Assess resource needs, propose options, and research/screens potential community service providers to meet the assessed needs
  • Provide resource referrals and educate individuals on how to use resources to handle various life and work situations
  • Appropriately document member interactions and research/case fulfillment in the system
  • Work in an inbound and outbound call center environment and complete outbound phone calls and research, some of which may be more administrative or customer service oriented
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, based on business need, including staffing an online chat platform
