Requirements

  • Successfully completed electrical engineering vocational training
  • Experience in a comparable role is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ERP knowledge
  • Customer- and interface-oriented, independent work style, and strong implementation skills
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent German and good English skills (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct error analysis and repair of Xylem Analytics measurement systems and trade goods
  • Communicate with customers to clarify details and provide solutions
  • Document activities to create cost estimates, invoices, and reports, including information on alternative devices
  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks on devices, including loaner equipment, adhering to maintenance regulations, manuals, forms, and work instructions
  • Make decisions regarding warranty/guarantee claims within the DOAE (Damage Occurrence Analysis Evaluation) framework
  • Create certificates and DIN ISO 9001 and testing protocols
  • Assist customers with questions regarding operation or the selection of alternative devices/sensors
  • Maintain quality and complaint statistics
  • Enter all relevant data into an ERP system (QAD)
  • Support the creation and maintenance of service documents, participation in inventory, and coordination with interface partners
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
