Candidates should possess an Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and repair at the component level is required. Strong knowledge of electronic principles, components, and circuitry is essential, along with proficiency in using testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers. The ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings is necessary, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also required, along with familiarity with safety standards and ESD precautions.
The Electronic Test Technician will perform testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on electronic assemblies, circuits, and components down to the component level. They will utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers to conduct tests. The technician will identify defective components and provide recommendations for repair or replacement, while documenting test results and maintaining accurate records of work performed. They will work closely with the engineering team to identify and resolve design and functionality issues, assist in the development of testing protocols and procedures, calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability, and ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
