Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective teaching management strategies to enhance lesson quality delivered by teaching staff
  • Act as an energetic and passionate self-starter to envision solutions and execute initiatives toward goals
  • Responsible for student retention for one or more grade levels
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in lesson preparation via live mocks
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify areas for improvement and develop professional development plans
  • Conduct regular classroom observations to evaluate teaching methods, classroom management, and student engagement
  • Plan and conduct training sessions and workshops for continuous professional growth among teaching staff
  • Conduct open and respectful communication with students and parents to understand needs and provide personalized learning plans
  • Deliver online math classes (~8 hours/week) as part of rotational training
  • Work with teaching management team to advance teaching-related services
  • Develop and iterate classes to maximize students' learning outcomes (classes on Friday evenings and Saturdays required)
