Position Overview

As a member of our client services team, you will be a primary point of contact for Democratic campaigns, parties, PACs, and progressive organizations utilizing our tools. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, conducting web-based training, and onboarding new clients. Our staff are expert practitioners who enable clients to achieve their social missions. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about our clients and their causes.

Salary

US Base Salary Range: $49,000 - $58,000

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the NGP VAN business line and provide basic support for Digital services.
  • Dedicate at least 90% of work time to handling cases and phone inquiries.
  • Potentially assist assigned clients as a backup to an Account Manager.
  • Conduct public training sessions for the business line and Digital services.
  • Follow direction from Team Leads on case management to meet team claiming standards.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated and passionate interest in Democratic + progressive politics and ideals.
  • Proficiency with technology and a willingness to support a diverse range of organizations.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with compliance, fundraising, and/or email tools for political campaigns, unions, or nonprofits.
  • Experience utilizing APIs, either through custom integrations or systems like DNC's Phoenix.
  • Hands-on experience with NGP8, EveryAction, VAN, or VoteBuilder (or their competitors) in a day-to-day capacity, including administering users or holding a leadership role in a campaign or organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong willingness to learn.
  • Professional phone demeanor and exceptional patience.
  • Proven ability to self-motivate and a demonstrated work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly.
  • Previous experience in teaching or training, including mentoring, tutoring, and/or software support.
  • Experience in customer relations or an equivalent field is valued, though not strictly required.
