Responsibilities

  • Drive district to meet and exceed sales and metrics goals; guide team in addressing and correcting store performance challenges
  • Build sales and conversion by localizing and tailoring assortment and merchandising to customers’ wants and needs, in partnership with regional sales manager, retail store operations, senior retail leadership, and buying/P&A team
  • Maximize profitability and maintain healthy balance sheet by keeping costs and losses in line with goals
  • Leverage retail knowledge and internal partners to solve problems and remove obstacles for the team, regardless of challenges
  • Respond to sudden changes or demands from corporate HQ and teach team to pivot effectively; drive compliance with policy and procedure
  • Proactively inform Regional Sales Manager, retail operations, and senior retail leadership of store realities, including wins, opportunities, and obstacles
  • Recruit and hire top talent; engage network for referrals
  • Develop, coach, and mentor Store Managers and Store Teams to meet potential and run successful stores
  • Focus on succession planning and provide constructive performance coaching
  • Build morale, champion team ideas, and ensure transparent communication for excellent employee experience and engagement
  • Collaborate with talent partners on succession, morale, external talent acquisition, internal career growth, and performance coaching
  • Translate and train team on company’s strategic objectives in product, in-store marketing, community events, and shopping experience
  • Ensure stores are delightful to shop with top-notch conversion and customer experience
  • Partner with Regional Sales Manager to assess and develop community events that drive sales
  • Assess local market and competitors; share and escalate feedback with Regional Sales Manager
  • Lead a team of Store Managers and a network of up to 25 stores
