Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing/repair environment
- Strong knowledge and abilities with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving or related environment
- Ability to identify potential process and workflow improvements
- Demonstrated experience with direct supervision and coaching of others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully interface with all levels of company personnel as well as external personnel
- High energy professional with the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Strong interpersonal skills for problem solving, brainstorming, strategy development, and conflict resolution
- Driven, goal-oriented, never confuses effort with results
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic assembly and logistics environment
- May be required to work across multiple shifts
Responsibilities
- Responsible for employees in the facility, preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, coordinating work flow and projects, overseeing completion, and monitoring team performance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and process standards, maintain employee morale, and oversee training of new and existing staff
- Work with management to establish department and company goals, using experience, judgment, and innovation to achieve them
- Develop and implement process improvements and coordinate new model introductions
- Create and utilize reports to accurately represent product flow and task completion rates and percentages
- Act as liaison between teams, shifts, departments, and partner with vendor/customer/client representatives
- Monitor inventory of stock and ensure adequate levels are maintained
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Ensure proper labor utilization and develop staffing requirements
- Conduct interviews for all nonexempt personnel and temporary employees
- Review Tableau reports to ensure team/department attains desired performance metrics
- Drive engagement across area of responsibility and foster a strong engaged culture with the team
- Work with manager to review Peakon score and create action plans within the tool
- Perform other duties as assigned
