Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and support of facility, infrastructure, and material handling equipment within the Distribution Center
  • Lead a team of technical and mechanical specialists, demonstrating positive engagement and leadership with emphasis on safety, performance, and accountability
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and CVS policy adherence
  • Prepare cost controls and adhere to budgets
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety and performance within the building and its material handling systems
  • Demonstrate competency in maintenance planning and budgeting
  • Manage facility operations and equipment, including implementing process improvements, effective workflow management, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Apply strong understanding of maintenance practices for critical operating equipment, including LOTO, hazard identification, and appropriate PPE requirements
  • Analyze risk, develop contingencies, and make decisions to avoid negatively impacting production while maintaining highest safety standards
  • Utilize knowledge of computerized maintenance management, procurement, and service ticket systems
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and develop strategies to improve uptime and building availability
