Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Construction Management or equivalent experience
PMP or equivalent certification (preferred)
Minimum of 5-8 years in power plant construction, with at least 3 years in project management roles
Understanding of natural gas engines, balance of plant (BOP), EPC contracts, and construction methodologies
Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems at various voltages, electrical equipment, switchgear controls, grounding design, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and project management tools
Experience in Guaranteed Max Price, Lump Sum and EPC projects (preferred)
Familiarity with international power plant standards (ISO, ASME, API, IEC, IEEE, OSHA, etc.) (preferred)
Knowledge of contract management and FIDIC contracts (preferred)
Ability to work remotely with travel to various locations as required and manage multiple project phases in high-pressure environments

Responsibilities

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and execution strategies (Project Planning & Execution)
Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, Direct Hire Construction Supervision, contractors, suppliers, and consultants (Team Coordination)
Oversee contract negotiations, risk management, and stakeholder communications (Contract & Stakeholder Management)
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards (Compliance & Quality Assurance)
Monitor project expenditures and financial performance (Budget & Cost Control)
Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation (Reporting & Documentation)
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Gas Engine Power Plant construction projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards
