Common questions about this position
A minimum of 5-8 years in power plant construction is required, with at least 3 years in project management roles. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil), Construction Management, or equivalent experience is needed.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are required. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and project management tools is also necessary.
Understanding of natural gas engines, balance of plant (BOP), EPC contracts, construction methodologies, electrical power distribution systems, electrical equipment, switchgear controls, grounding design, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements is required.
PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
Candidates with a strong background in power plant engineering, construction management, project execution, and experience in EPC projects, along with PMP certification, will stand out.
