Strong cross-functional leadership skills
Deep technical expertise in high-speed interconnects (PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet, and other high-speed switching products)
Experience with leading-edge process technologies (16nm to <3nm)
Knowledge of advanced packaging (monolithic, MCM, 3DIC, and optical)
Ability to influence design and operations teams

Responsibilities

Define and drive the deployment of diagnostic test plans, fixtures, tools, and methodologies for fault isolation of customer returns in high-speed products; fan out successful tools for high-volume manufacturing and troubleshooting NPI qualification failures or field issues
Drive external selection or internal development of embedded silicon agents to monitor temperature, voltage, noise, process, timing at block level; collaborate with design, validation, firmware, and software teams for implementation, debugging, and actionable diagnostics
Work with design, operations engineering, and system validation teams to drive early Design-for-Testability (DFT) and diagnostic capabilities; coordinate block-by-block reviews to ensure coverage and apply lessons learned
Develop diagnostic methodologies for MCM, 3DIC, and optical interconnect packages, including die-to-die and heterogeneous integration interfaces
Lead debugging of complex hardware, firmware, and software issues during NPI and high-volume production using diagnostic hooks and advanced tools
Build data systems and infrastructure with operations engineering to eliminate outliers, predict quality trends, and identify opportunities using signature analysis, AI, and/or ML techniques
Partner with operations engineering to improve diagnostic efficiency, reduce overkill/retest, and enhance product yield and quality
Develop and maintain automated diagnostic tools for scalability and reuse across product families
Integrate diagnostics into silicon lifecycle management, firmware release, and reliability tracking to detect degradation or field reliability risks
