Completed commercial training or comparable qualification in Transport & Logistics
English language skills
Very good German language skills (German required)
In-depth knowledge of operational processes
Good MS Office and PC skills
Good geographical knowledge
Experience in coordinating a team in a busy transport and/or dispatch environment (advantage)
Focused on accuracy and attention to detail
Driven to solve problems using planning and organizing skills
Able to communicate and align with different stakeholders
Ability to manage own and team's time effectively with attention to detail in a pressurized environment

Responsibilities

Preparing courier schedules and routes
Coordinating the distribution of work amongst couriers to achieve station's operational goals efficiently
Monitoring the daily delivery cycle and updating systems with accurate information for correct execution of pick-up and delivery assignments
Providing support to couriers and assisting with issue resolution
Contacting customers when needed to obtain additional information or advise on potential service-related issues
Proactively reporting issues during the daily delivery cycle to management and compiling reports on station's productivity, volumes, and performance
Briefing and debriefing of local transport partners
Handover and takeover of shipment documentation as well as its control
Hall dispatch (warehouse dispatching)
Interface between freight carriers and employees of adjacent departments
Data entry of PODs (Proof of Delivery)
Processing of pick-up orders considering special cases according to ISO manual
Processing and responsibility for cash-on-delivery (COD)
