Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or another relevant business/technology field
  • Minimum 10 years of directly relevant work experience in product management
  • Proven track record of applying product management to enterprise-scale data products or platforms in the retail industry
  • Able to oversee E2E product lifecycles for a product, from strategy (innovate, generate ideas, justify investments) to launch (execution, integration, sequencing), operating in-life (track performance, fix issues), managing end-of-life and measurement including integration, sequencing, and stitching across all levels
  • Proven leadership in managing large, complex product portfolios
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, data governance, and metadata
  • Capability to develop and implement proofs of concepts (POCs) to validate technical solutions
  • Experience with scripting languages for handling large data sets (e.g. Python), UI/UX languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, etc.) and object oriented languages (e.g. Java)
  • Experience with enterprise data tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau/Power BI, or similar, preferred
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills
  • Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end enterprise product/platform roadmap in partnership with engineering and business teams
  • Define and execute product and platform strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Integrate dependencies across functional areas and domains, collaborating with other TPM leaders
  • Drive execution steps of product management, adhering to standard processes and collaboration models
  • Track product adoption, performance, and execution against roadmap, adjusting as necessary
  • Build and nurture a deep product culture, investing in the development and career growth of TPMs
  • Facilitate decision-making and alignment across priorities with portfolio management
