Requirements

  • 10+ years of eCommerce experience
  • 5+ years of site merchandising experience
  • 3+ years experience leading the site merchandising function at a company where digital revenue exceeds $300M
  • Strong, thoughtful operator mindset
  • Based in or able to work out of Bombas HQ in New York City

Responsibilities

  • Improve overall and category-level site performance AND brand perception
  • Own site merchandising strategy and execution in alignment with overall company goals, product strategy, and brand aspirations
  • Deliver conversion rate and AOV improvements while improving the qualitative customer experience on site, ensuring the site is optimized for product discovery, brand storytelling, and conversion
  • Own homepage, category, and PDP merchandising, evergreen and in support of the company content calendar, setting the direction for how products come to life across all shoppable touchpoints
  • Refine and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and communicate the impact of merchandising choices
  • Use quant and qual insights to guide strategy and quickly iterate on what’s working and influence upstream and downstream teams (brand, creative, product merchandising, marketing, and more)
  • Build and run a high-impact roadmap of A/B tests (and other test and learn approaches) across site surfaces: navigation, filters, homepage, PLPs, PDPs
  • Improve brand perception and understanding on site through close partnership with brand and creative teams
  • Evolve site in response to changing customer expectations, including AI usage
  • Ensure the site runs smoothly and efficiently at scale
  • Continually improve processes around core aspects of site operations, from content and products go live to how daily operations and merchandising updates are managed
  • Own the site execution calendar, ensuring campaigns, launches, and content updates go live on time and to spec, in close partnership with brand
