Requirements

  • 7–10 years experience in product merchandising, ideally in DTC or omnichannel apparel
  • Deep understanding of men’s apparel and the customer mindset
  • Highly analytical and commercially-minded with creative instinct
  • Experience with line architecture, pricing strategy, and margin optimization
  • Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in merchandising tools (e.g., Excel, PLM, Looker/analytics platforms)
  • A growth mindset, comfortable building and optimizing in a fast-scaling environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the seasonal and long-term line architecture to drive revenue, margin, and brand cohesion
  • Develop end-to-end line plans by category, color, and price architecture, anchored in data, trend, and customer insight
  • Drive performance across new launches and core styles. Identify when to invest, optimize, or retire
  • Act as the connective tissue between Design, Sourcing, Planning, and eComm, ensuring on-time and on-brand delivery
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data (sell-through, site analytics, customer feedback) to inform line decisions
  • Inform product storytelling and content strategies with deep knowledge of the product and its “why”
  • Maintain sharp awareness of the menswear landscape and emerging opportunities
  • If applicable, lead and mentor a small but mighty team of merchandisers or coordinators
