Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-team delivery
  • Lead annual and quarterly marketing Strategic Planning processes
  • Ensure annual marketing plan is compiled across lanes: integrating the marketing outlook forecast, budget, goals/objectives and initiatives across Marketing and aligning with tech
  • Ensure clear prioritization alignment of work, experimentation and outcome metrics to OKRs and working with leadership and the expansive Marketing
  • Facilitate the clear prioritization of work across teams
  • Lead the delivery of the most significant and high priority outcomes in Marketing while leading a team of project managers aligned against top strategic initiatives
  • Keep the organization focused on key priorities through effective business metrics reviews, agile methodologies, and effective use of tools to create transparency
  • Maintain high standard for clear business metric reporting
  • Collaborate closely with sub-organization Program Delivery Leads across the organization to align processes and tools
  • Manage key horizontal process initiatives, including process improvements across key partner groups
  • Engage with key partners across the organization to ‘connect the dots’ and ensure collaboration across leaders & teams
  • Build processes and programs to standardize “how we work,” support Marketer success and engagement and build our brand across Capital One as a leading modern marketing organization
  • Lead the codification of marketing best practices, testing, and marketer skill development to ensure consistent standards of quality
  • Evolve how we work on campaigns and go to market plans within Marketing using best in class tools
  • Orchestrate end-to-end delivery of strategic change initiatives, guiding project roadmaps, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure buy-in and support for change initiatives
