Requirements

  • Experience leading teams of dozens of people (People Management/Sales Management)
  • Direct communication and negotiation experience with business users and end users
  • Logical thinking ability and project management skills to accurately understand customer requirements, define requirements, and proceed with design
  • Experience in creating proposals and conducting proposals for clients, primarily in DWH/BI areas, and experience executing projects
  • Native-level Japanese / Business-level English
  • Desirable Experience
  • Basic technical knowledge necessary for coordination with clients/vendors and organization management (e.g., product knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Dr.Sum/Motion Board, PowerBI, and design/development experience considering non-functional requirements)
  • Database design and development experience (e.g., PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server, including SQL stored procedure development)
  • Experience building DWH/BI systems based on cloud platforms like AWS
  • Experience in DWH/BI system construction projects in the healthcare industry

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organizations of the three main services within the PM&I, IM&DS team: (i) Introduction and operation of client DWH/BI environments for data management and analysis; (ii) Development and operation of SaaS solutions using IQVIA data like market sales data and RWD; (iii) Reporting and custom data provision services tailored to client needs using IQVIA data
  • Manage the overall organization of the PM&I, IM&DS team (currently about 50 people) and lead activities to achieve sales targets in the PM&I, IM&DS domain
  • Strengthen collaboration with Global and expand domestic offerings
  • Lead the introduction of new technologies and development of true solutions tailored to the Japanese market (e.g., development of AI assistants using generative AI)
  • Within the first ~3 months: Deepen understanding of IQVIA PM&I and overall IQVIA offerings
  • 3-6 months: Independently lead as a Leader
  • 6 months-1 year: Change Management for organizational strengthening (transformation to a solution proposal-oriented organization)
