Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment, demonstrating a passion for Italian food and hospitality. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook is required, along with exceptional communication, leadership, motivational, and team-building skills, as well as demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and business management skills. Experience with Italian cuisine and wine is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Director of Store Operations oversees all aspects of the complex operations of an Eataly store, collaborating with senior leadership to drive sales, increase profitability, and cultivate a positive experience for guests and team members, ensuring consistent adherence to Eataly standards. They lead the management of labor, costs, inventory, regulatory compliance, pricing, and merchandising, promoting interdepartmental collaboration and serving as the final decision-making point for addressing store-related problems. The Director also motivates and develops the team through setting expectations and leading by example, partnering with HR in hiring, performance reviews, and terminations, representing the store to the community, and performing other duties as assigned.
