The Director of State and Local Government Relations will build a state and local government relations strategy for the company, monitor and advocate for legislation, implement a legislative monitoring system, participate in grassroots efforts, build strategic partnerships with community organizations, coordinate visits for elected officials, build relationships with key officials, and support facility siting processes while conforming with regulations, policies, and safety rules, and performing other duties as assigned.
