Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the IT services, software, or technology consulting sectors
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar revenue targets
  • Deep understanding of IT services offerings (managed services, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing distributed or hybrid sales teams
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals, market trends, and revenue targets
  • Define and manage sales objectives, forecasts, and KPIs to ensure consistent pipeline and predictable results
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging customer needs within the IT services landscape
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of sales managers, account executives, and business development representatives
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development to ensure the team is up to date on service offerings, technologies, and sales methodologies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Oversee large and strategic deal negotiations, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for top accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Partner with marketing to align lead generation, brand positioning, and sales campaigns
  • Work closely with delivery, operations, and finance teams to ensure client expectations are met and revenue recognition is accurate
  • Contribute to product/service roadmap discussions with insights from the field
