Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Information Services, IT, Information Security, or Computer Science. A minimum of 7 years of experience in application security and security architecture is required, with at least 3 years specifically in Applications Security, including familiarity with leading dynamic and static application security toolsets like Checkmarx, AppScan, Burp Suite, Contrast, Veracode, or Fortify. The role also requires 5 years of director-level work experience in highly diversified and complex organizations, strong experience executing application security or product security strategy, excellent communication and influencing skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should be self-starters, passionate about improving consumer experiences, developer experience, privacy, security, and product delivery, and capable of executing with little direction. Preferred qualifications include strong experience in establishing and rolling out enterprise-wide Threat Modeling and cloud experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, or Heroku.
The Director of Product Security Architecture will manage a team of segment security architects and the threat modeling program, driving security outcomes and determining security strategy for various business units while contributing to the enterprise security architecture strategy. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering, operations, and security teams to integrate security best practices, defining and tracking key security metrics, staying abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role involves creating and delivering executive-level presentations, partnering with various security and architecture teams, improving and expanding product security across the portfolio, fostering a security-conscious culture, managing continuous release planning and execution, developing and maintaining relationships within the security industry, developing and mentoring staff, and managing team budget and impact.
