  • Developer advocacy experience, including creating documentation, SDKs, sample code, tutorials, and demos
  • Collaboration with commercial, marketing, customer engagement, sales, and client services teams
  • Ability to partner with AI development teams for embedding intelligent capabilities (e.g., automated documentation, predictive integration guidance)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product managers in defining the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Visa’s B2B payments APIs, balancing developer experience, business impact, and technical excellence
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases powering API capabilities across Visa’s solutions, ERP, CRM, P2P, vertical SaaS, and expense platforms
  • Establish and track KPIs for API adoption, developer satisfaction, uptime, latency, and integration speed
  • Partner with technology, architecture, security, and compliance leaders to ensure APIs meet enterprise-grade standards for security, scalability, performance, reliability, and compliance
  • Enable cross-functional and partner co-development efforts to define, build, and deliver integrations across ERP, P2P, and expense ecosystems
  • Support the use of iPaaS and middleware solutions; partner with solution architects and scrum teams to validate, test, and optimize integrations, making Visa virtual cards the preferred payment method
  • Implement and govern the API lifecycle, including versioning, deprecation, backward compatibility, and consistent API design principles
  • Serve as chief advocate for developers internally and externally, shaping product strategy with developer-first design
  • Collaborate with Visa’s commercial, marketing, and customer engagement teams to align API capabilities with partner and market needs
  • Create and maintain world-class developer resources (documentation, SDKs, sample code, tutorials, demos) to accelerate onboarding and integration
  • Provide solution overviews and technical support to sales and client services teams; enable partners through co-marketing and joint go-to-market initiatives
  • Partner with AI development teams to embed intelligent capabilities into the API platform (e.g., automated documentation generation, predictive integration guidance)
