Requirements

Technical expertise in global facility operations, projects, and initiatives in a highly regulated environment, including preventative maintenance, infrastructure, planning, utilities, fire, life, safety systems, and site capital/LEED/sustainability projects
Leadership experience in building, leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams focused on technical excellence and global collaboration
Knowledge of engineering standards, processes, and programs for facility design, maintenance, validation, qualification, and commissioning
Expertise in investigation, troubleshooting, and solutioning of engineering challenges
Ability to assess and recommend updates to work instructions and change management controls for compliance and audit readiness
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including regional Facilities leaders, Workplace Strategy, Procurement, CSR, IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, and EHS

Responsibilities

Define vision and strategy for the Engineering and Project Management organizations aligning with corporate goals and business objectives
Provide technical expertise and leadership for successful execution of global facility operations, projects, and initiatives
Develop and deliver an Engineering and Project Management Center of Excellence program, including talent management, training, procurement, governance, and program analytics
Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team creating SME-led work streams for best practices in efficiency, quality, and compliance
Lead cross-functional work streams to develop and maintain standards, processes, and programs for facility design, maintenance, validation, qualification, and commissioning to speed delivery and lower costs
Assist as a subject matter expert in investigating, troubleshooting, and solving engineering challenges
Assess and recommend updates to work instructions and change management controls for qualified systems to maintain compliance and audit readiness
Collaborate with regional Facilities leaders to provide leadership and direction to facility engineering teams supporting site and regional goals
Oversee all aspects of engineering projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, complying with regulations and industry standards
Partner with Workplace Strategy Team in developing Workplace Design Standards and contribute to planning and design of facilities, expansions, and renovations
Partner with Procurement in developing and contracting preferred parts specifications and providers
Oversee contracted resources to ensure quality, contract compliance, safety, and security on site
Partner with CSR and Facilities CSR Center of Excellence to develop and implement engineering solutions meeting CSR goals, including zero emissions targets
Partner with Global Facilities leaders in developing and managing annual capital and operating site plans
Partner and collaborate with regional peers in Facilities, Real Estate, and EHS, and work closely with IT, HR, Finance, and Procurement business partners
