Requirements

The Director of Finance should have experience overseeing all accounting activities and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Proficiency with accounting information systems such as Sage Intacct, Questica, and SAP Concur is necessary, along with experience in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. The role requires expertise in tracking and reporting restricted funds, cash flow forecasting, leading annual audits, and preparing tax filings like Form 5500, Form 990, and 1099s. Experience supporting budgeting, planning, and financial analysis is also essential.

Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting activities and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. They will design and maintain accounting information systems, establish and monitor internal controls, and lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations. Responsibilities include managing billing specialists, overseeing restricted funds, preparing cash flow forecasts, leading the annual audit process, and ensuring tax reporting compliance. The Director will also support the CEO and CAO in engaging the Board of Directors' Finance Committee and assist with the annual budgeting and planning process.
