Requirements

The Director of Engineering should possess 6+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including at least 3+ years leading Managers or multiple engineering teams, along with experience with A/B testing systems, statistical analysis pipelines, and event-based metrics infrastructure. A strong architectural understanding of data platforms, backend services, and cloud-native infrastructure is also required, as is demonstrated success scaling teams through multiple phases of company growth. Prior experience at a product-led SaaS or DevTools company is a plus.

Responsibilities

This role requires guiding engineering strategy and execution across Experimentation teams, partnering with product, design, and key engineering leaders to build statistically rigorous, intuitive, and scalable products, managing and mentoring senior leaders to cultivate high-performing teams, providing critical input on roadmap and architectural decisions, collaborating closely with Product, GTM, and Design teams to define success metrics, owning hiring strategy, modeling a leadership style rooted in transparency and curiosity, and ensuring our product serves customers well and is resilient, performant, and flexible.
