Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, ecommerce, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in ecommerce management and .com commercial efforts, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion for retail brands
  • In-depth knowledge of online marketplaces, most importantly Amazon (1P Vendor Central), as well as ecommerce best practices and trends
  • Retail background with an ecommerce focus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15–20 Senior Ecommerce Managers and 2-3 Associate Directors, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful management of brand partner portfolios
  • Oversee the performance and growth of all Pattern brand partner seller accounts managed by your team, comprising roughly 40-50 brands and ~$500 million in revenue
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Amazon and brand partners, supporting vendor negotiations, joint business planning, and complex escalations
  • Assume responsibility for P&L performance of all managed brands
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product and Tech teams to optimize data flows, product features, and platform integrations
  • Lead quarterly and annual business review sessions with brand partners, communicating effectively with your team and external brand leadership
  • Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive ecommerce strategies for each brand partner, focusing on driving revenue growth and market expansion across online marketplaces
  • Serve as a thought leader with deep knowledge of Vendor Central capabilities, ecommerce business levers, and SaaS-driven solutions
  • Monitor key performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and strategic optimization of ecommerce initiatives for brand partners
  • Lead all aspects of Pattern’s go-to-market strategies, with a primary focus on Amazon 1st Party (Vendor Central) marketplace management, including overseeing partner relationships, managing joint business plans with Amazon, negotiating vendor agreements, resolving escalations, and setting the strategic direction for 1P ecommerce initiatives
  • Guide the integration of SaaS solutions and Outcomes as a Service into marketplace strategies, working closely with Product and Technology teams to deliver scalable results across Amazon and select strategic marketplaces, including Walmart.com, Target.com, and others
