Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Information Services, IT, Information Security, or Computer Science. A minimum of 8 years of managerial experience in a highly diversified organization and 2 years of experience enabling organizations with DevOps, DevSecOps, or similar strategic initiatives are required. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with a belief in extreme ownership, are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP, developing solution and application architecture, product design and ownership, managing operational delivery teams, and knowledge of information security management frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, or BSIMM. Professional security management certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CISA are also preferred.
The Director of DevSecOps Automation and Engineering will manage a team of 25-30 associates and contractors, overseeing professional services contracts, software renewals, budget, and capacity planning. This role involves contributing to and executing the enterprise's secure software development strategy and managing automation to integrate Application Security across the enterprise. Key responsibilities include partnering with various product and governance teams, improving application security quality, creating metrics to track code quality and security defect reduction, and managing continuous release planning and execution. The Director will also develop and maintain relationships within the technology organization and the security industry to benchmark the Application Security program and stay current with best practices, while also developing and mentoring staff for career growth and succession planning.
