Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree. MBA or other related graduate-level degree is a plus
  • 8 or more years of work experience in marketing research, marketing sciences, strategic consulting or other related work in the biotech/pharmaceutical industries in leadership roles with direct management experience
  • Strong data analytical and interpretive skills. The ability to meaningfully portray and effectively communicate complex quantitative data in an easy-to-understand format
  • Experience designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary market research
  • Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly and acquire in-depth knowledge and experience in a complex market
  • Experience with global Sales and Marketing organizations and experience with pharmaceutical data sources
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing and changing priorities. Strong task management skills including planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, and plan execution
  • Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach. Creative problem solving. Open to new learnings and flexible in changing situations
  • Ability to develop a market research commercial strategy in support of both in-line products and product launch
  • Able to operate in ambiguous situations and determine focused objectives and a clear path forward
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, influence others, focus, resolve conflict, and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing to peers and senior management
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, development, and execution of market research in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Design and manage HIV market research studies, including objective setting, vendor selection, data collection oversight, analysis, and interpretation
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations of market research insights to Brand Leadership and Senior Management
  • Analyze competitive environment, sales data, market penetration, and trends to inform strategic recommendations
  • Monitor key market events and assess their potential impact on business objectives
  • Present insights and tailor communications to influence Senior Management and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Analytics, Forecasting, Digital Strategy & Operations, Managed Markets, Brand Team) to synthesize insights from multiple data sources and recommend corrective actions as needed
