Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in market research, with a proven track record of managing multiple end-to-end research engagements. A Bachelor's degree in a social science, communications, or business-related field is preferred, and a Master's degree is a plus. Professional knowledge and personal passion for the gaming and entertainment industries are required, along with experience translating insights across other categories like financial services, technology, consumer goods, or healthcare. Strong skills in critical and strategic thinking, project management, client relationship development, and problem-solving are essential. The ability to learn and adapt to cutting-edge technologies and possess a leadership presence through influence and peer relationships is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Director, Insights will lead and deliver multiple research and insights engagements in gaming, entertainment, and other industries. They will act as a thought partner to clients, crafting insights and developing actionable recommendations, while maintaining trusted relationships and fostering organic growth. Responsibilities include research design, methodology recommendations, discussion guide development, moderation, mentoring junior staff, managing project teams and finances, creating client-ready deliverables, and escalating/solving roadblocks. The role involves translating data into impactful narratives and strategic recommendations, establishing and supporting client relationships, and mentoring Associates, Sr. Associates, and Associate Directors.
