Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Finance or related industries
  • Experience leading teams
  • Significant product management experience and a solid track record as a Product Manager
  • Deep understanding of the Investment Management industry and processes
  • Ideally an understanding of credit, credit investments and lifecycle
  • Understanding of the client/investor journey across investment management/financial services
  • Ability to prioritize multiple contending requests and manage product roadmap
  • Ability to drive outcome focused initiatives in both evolving current products, as well as building out business case, and strategic direction for replacement of current products
  • Be a self-starter, and someone who flourishes with autonomy, and some amount of ambiguity
  • Strong and effective communication and clear leadership skills
  • Ability to manage both people and products
  • Strong product analytical skills and understanding of target market

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and vendors
  • Collaborate with internal teams on solutions and problem solving
  • Define, own, manage and deliver on strategic roadmap for group
  • Oversee the development of all product-related documentation, change management, support and related materials as applicable
  • Mentor junior members of the product team through ‘coaching not doing’
  • Motivate and coach the product team to reach goals and achieve deliverables
  • Own all products/system development related to the various teams
  • Define and drive value-based delivery, including business case definition, when necessary, to measure, track and report on outcomes
