The Director of Global Compensation will design and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy to position GitLab as an employer of choice and support business objectives. This includes supporting executive compensation programs, overseeing annual merit review cycles, bonus structures, and equity planning. The role involves enhancing job architecture and career progression frameworks, serving as a subject matter expert for incentive and equity programs, and analyzing/optimizing existing compensation programs. Additionally, the Director will develop communication strategies for compensation packages, partner with business leaders on compensation decisions, guide M&A compensation strategy, and lead a team of compensation professionals.
