Requirements

Robust background in strategic and operational finance, particularly within food tech (B2C models) or delivery sector
Strong P&L management with ability to understand key business drivers (operational KPIs) and drive profitability and efficiency improvements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage disparate data sets and build complex financial models
Detail oriented and comfortable working with large datasets
Systems knowledge: BigQuery, Looker, NetSuite, SQL, and advanced Excel
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Excel in building strong partnerships and driving business initiatives, leveraging financial expertise for strategic guidance and operational efficiency

Responsibilities

Serve as primary financial advisor and strategic partner to Head of Growth & Marketing, providing financial insights to drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and profitability
Utilize background in B2C and brick-and-mortar models to improve revenue per transaction, optimize costs, and drive efficient growth
Collaborate across functions (Marketing, Analytics, Operations) to deliver shared goals
Own/develop long-term revenue forecasts (including modeling new business lines) and marketing budgets
Own operational and financial KPIs, providing insights into same store sales growth, new store openings, revenue growth curves, pricing and fee structures, customer retention/churn, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value
Drive insightful analysis of underlying business financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis team to support growth story for stakeholders, ensuring alignment between operational plans and corporate financial objectives
