Regional Channel Director - Southern Europe

Position Overview

Cohesity is seeking an established business leader to manage and develop our Channel sales team, focusing on key Resellers and Distributors in Southern Europe. This role is crucial for driving channel development as Cohesity transitions to Cloud & Service Provider engagements, aiming to elevate our channel relationships to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Overall Channel Management: Assume overall responsibility for all Reseller & Distributor activities and drive strong growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the Channel sales team, including hiring, deployment, expectation setting, coaching, and performance management.
  • Revenue Achievement: Achieve and exceed annual revenue plans and drive accountability to build the Cohesity brand with existing and new partners.
  • Cloud & As-A-Service Transition: Lead the transition of our business with new Partner relationships focused on Cloud and As-A-Service routes to market.
  • Channel Strategy: Maintain an understanding of Cohesity's corporate and regional strategic directions to develop and execute an aligned channel strategy.
  • Southern European Channel Plan: Create and own the Southern European Channel Plan, including the effective development of existing partners.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve quarterly financial and non-financial targets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with Cohesity channel teams, district managers, RVPs, field sales, pre-sales, Marketing, and support teams to execute the plan.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Own business relationships with key strategic partners.
  • Partner Engagement Oversight: Oversee the Southern European teams' engagement with Resellers and Distributors to:
    • Structure go-to-market strategies for each partner engagement.
    • Influence Partner sales teams to ensure Cohesity is prioritized in their collaboration business opportunities.
    • Evangelize Cohesity’s solutions to Partners and their customers.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage channel pipeline effectively.

Requirements

  • Channel Leadership Experience: Strong history in leading a Channel & Alliance business.
  • Market Understanding: Fundamental understanding of the Southern European market.
  • Leadership Proven Track Record: Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of success.
  • Influence Skills: Ability to effectively influence key stakeholders.
  • Network: Strong customer and partner network.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and determine appropriate actions to create desired outcomes.
  • Prioritization & Follow-through: Ability to manage multiple priorities with highly effective follow-through skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
