Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, with an emphasis on email marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role
  • Deep experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related platforms (e.g., Acoustic Campaign, Marketo, Klaviyo)
  • Proven success in managing marketing operations teams and complex campaign execution workflows
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, compliance (e.g., CASL, CAN-SPAM), and data segmentation
  • Excellent project management, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on when required
  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (e.g., Email Specialist, Consultant)
  • Experience working within regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, life sciences, or financial services
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, AMPscript, and SQL for data queries considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of how CRM ecosystems work and how the Salesforce Marketing Cloud works with the core Salesforce platform (i.e.: SFDC)
  • Strong understanding of CRM Marketing Technology stacks and what roles various platforms (ex: CDP, EDW, Service Bus) play in delivering enterprise CRM programs

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of campaign managers, and marketing operations specialists both onshore and offshore
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class campaign operations processes to ensure high quality, and consistency of campaign delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Klick, including Marketing Strategy, Project Management, Project Delivery, and Analytics to ensure alignment and efficiency on client projects
  • Oversee the deployment of email marketing campaigns across platforms, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio)
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new platforms, technologies, and automation strategies to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as a senior point of contact for strategic clients and high-impact projects, ensuring campaign strategy and execution are aligned with business goals
  • Provide hands-on leadership for key campaigns, offering guidance on complex campaign builds, personalization, dynamic content, and journey design
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions quickly to maintain campaign performance and client satisfaction
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaign operations and inform strategic decisions
  • Work with Project Managers to validate and optimize project plans
  • Be an advocate for standardization and efficiency with the Campaign Operations team
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Lead discovery and planning activities for projects and new business opportunities
  • Strengthen and expand the CRM capabilities including onboarding new platforms, being hands-on with projects as necessary, and interfacing with other internal Klick teams to ensure projects are successfully delivered
